This site is really about me needing to have a single place to put all the crap I email people.

Sometimes this crap is serious, important, etc, and other times it’s simply just stuff of some interest.

I may or may not get around to describing myself on here, so don’t hold your breath. Blogs “about” onself are usually unflattering and I am really not interested in that.

If you are interested in such things, this is made out of:

• WordPress
• Vistered Little Theme (hacked up quite a bit to do what I want)
• Apache 2
• PHP/mod_php (I don’t really like PHP, but it’s what WordPress is written in so it deserves it’s props)
• Perl (me lurv perl long time)
• Hosted on a SuperbServers machine runing Fedora Linux.

Regarding Obulous:

A long time ago it was an inside joke. Anything that ended in “obulous ” ascribes a somewhat large/big meaning. The postfix “ulette” was used to refer to something smallish, the opposite of “obulous”. However, the joke got out of hand, and one day during the *.com boom I decided to register the domain. Considering I had been the victim of rediculous domain name litigation before for prior registrations, it had the added bonus, NO ONE would EVER, nor had ever, trademark it. Thus it’s been my personal domain for net-eons. People call me obulous sometimes even, eg, Dickobulous. Not nice, but I am not a nice person *shrug*.
